The lower part of the island from the airport up to Plymouth on the Northside and up to Scarborough on the Windward is where most of the hotel accommodation is found. The larger hotels are in the Plymouth to Buccoo area and are mostly beach front with air conditioned rooms. Store Bay, the area around Store Bay Beach is being developed as a lively tourist resort. There are many small hotels here and they are backed up by bars and discos. Motel type accommodation may be found on the Milford Road which runs between Crown Point Airport and Scarborough.
